Last season was a successful, yet disappointing, season for Cully. The team did extremely well to progress to the Devon County Cup final where they were eventual winners to Combination League team, and previous holders of the cup, Plymouth Argyle. They came second in the Pat Sowden Trophy to Yeovil Town and second in the league, again to Yeovil Town. This year they aim to make up for the disappointment of not winning promotion, contesting the league with other strong teams such as Penzance, Gloucester City and Cheltenham.
Formerly known as Exeter City Ladies Football Club we have been formally granted a name change (July 2006) by Devon FA and are now known as Cullompton Rangers Ladies Football Club.
This name change is to reflect our association with Cullompton Rangers mens side, we have been playing our home matches at speeds meadow for some time and will continue to do so!
With the name change comes some changes in personnel, we hope the new committee will be able to take us forward as a club, into what promises to be an exciting season.
